Hours
- Monday 3 – 7 pm only in June, July & August
- Wednesday Noon – 7 pm
- Friday 1 – 6 pm

Permits
Permits are required for all residents, tenants, and businesses in order to utilize the Transfer Station. Proof of residency is required. Acceptable documents include a tax bill, rental receipt, or utility bills.
Annual Permit Fees (effective August 1, 2014)
- Residential: $40
- Professional Occupation: $50
- Senior Citizen (65+): $10
Purple Bags
We utilize a “Purple Bag” system — all household garbage must be in these purple bags in order to dispose of it at the Transfer Station. The cost of each 30-gallon bag is $3.00. The bags and permits are available at the Transfer Station and the Town Clerk’s Office. These bags cannot be purchased elsewhere and will not be accepted if they are not the correct bags.
